Summary: possible data loss after restoring draft after crash
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail@kde.org
        ReportedBy: jfirebaugh@kde.org

Version: 1.5.9 (using KDE 3.1.9)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 20030812 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21

I just lost an hour's worth of work due to this bug.

If you are working on an email and kmail crashes, the composer window will usually be \
restored with the complete text next time kmail is started. That's good. \
Unfortunately, this window is not marked as needing to be saved. That's bad. If you \
close it, the draft is discarded with no confirmation, and your work is gone. \
