Consider: http://www.catb.org/~esr/writings/taoup/html/ch06s01.html#id2910302 Since when does KMail echo SMTP progress messages to the status bar=20 (other than "Sending message x of y: ")? Is ESR perhaps=20 referring to the separate "sending messages" window? Beside that, this and the recent KDE usability study show that KMail=20 obviously performs very well here already, so to all the usability=20 people: 1. Thanks! 2. Don't overdo it ;-) I find it most interesting that non-integrated applications consistently=20 performed better in the productivity area. So esp. the Kontact people=20 should read the results at http://www.linux-usability.de/download/linux_usability_report.pdf (in German) Marc =2D-=20 memAlloc() Amnesia Error: Out of Memory --Boundary-02=_MflL/VHvWUSrKjf Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Description: signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQA/LlfM3oWD+L2/6DgRAgeYAKDYanW3HIhKtX8NSJOx23jgagdz3ACg7Mlz NeJNDMnYYKPXSPVF7GFUOp8= =c5F5 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Boundary-02=_MflL/VHvWUSrKjf-- --===============59150275703909516== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline _______________________________________________ KMail Developers mailing list kmail@mail.kde.org http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kmail --===============59150275703909516==--
