Clearsigned messages shouldn't cause any trouble for anyone, so I guess you 
are referring to PGP/MIME signed messages (where the signature is a special 
attachment). 
Currently I chose either the built-in OpenPGP support (-> clearsigning) or the 
PGP/MIME plugin depending on the recipient of the message. Since this is 
indeed pretty annoying there's a good chance that I will implement some kind 
of automatism.
