not having them visible by default somewhat defeats the purpose of having a 
nice treeview there, though. it's easy enough to close them on the odd 
occasion you don't want to show them, but annoying to open them up 
every_single_time. 

on the topic of distribution lists, would it be possible to show them not as 
the email addresses in the distribution list, but the name of the list/group 
itself and only expand it when returning the results to the program?
