Summary: Third-party browser support is worse than it should be
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: RedHat RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail@kde.org
        ReportedBy: cheeth@nwlink.com

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.2)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: gcc 3.2.2
OS: Linux

If you set your HTML file association to "mozilla %u" (I believe this is how it \
should be done), Mozilla does eventually open links from KMail.

However, KMail appears to download the entire web page to a cache before this \
happens. This means that the user could potentially need to respond to cookie \
requests in Konqueror before Mozilla opens. Also, if the link is to a large file or \
slow site, the user must wait for the document to be retrieved twice. This is \
unneccesary--KMail should just hand the link off to Mozilla. \
