Summary: Imap Special Folders By Default
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian stable
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail@kde.org
        ReportedBy: j.cook@siliconriver.com.au

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.1a)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages
OS: Linux

There are 3 folders that should be treated as special.

Those 3 being
Drafts, Sent Items, and Trash. Inbox is already special so it should just be implicit \
that im ignoring Inbox.

When setting up a new account ... the special folders for the account should default \
to the folders in the account.

Eg. "Sent Items" should be the default for "Sent-mail folder:", and "Drafts" should \
be the default for "Drafts folder:". Simmarly "Trash" should be the default for the \
accounts "Trash folder:". At the moment they default to the local account.

As these are special folders it would be also usefull if there was an option \
(default: enabled) that always has the account's folder listing in the following \
order. Inbox, Drafts, Sent Items, Trash.

It would also be nice if there were Icons for each special folder.

When setting up the account (and maybe other times) the folders should be created (if \
they aren't already). _______________________________________________
