Interestingly -- and I had not noticed it before since I'm a Mozilla 
user -- Konqueror *sometimes* displays text incorrectly.  For example 
here are some pages that are displayed correctly and incorrectly by 
Konqueror. 
 
Displayed correctly: 
  www.google.com  
  hipersoft.cs.rice.edu/hpctoolkit 
  http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57344 
 
Displayed incorrectly:  
  hipersoft.cs.rice.edu 
  file:/home/eraxxon/  [directory on my machine] 
 
It should be noted that Konqueror produces the following errors to 
stdout/stderr as I view the above pages: 
 
  QTextParagraph::lineInfo: line 2 out of range!

  QTextParagraph::lineInfo: line 3 out of range! 
  1 3 
  QTextParagraph::lineInfo: line 4 out of range!
