It's not surprising that html messages can completely mess up the=20
message view. Ideally we would embed the html message in an iframe.=20
Then it wouldn't affect anything outside this frame. But the last time=20
we tried this it didn't really work since the iframe got too little=20
space, so that the embedded frame got a pair of extra scrollbars. Not=20
very nice.

Please submit a bug report via bugs.kde.org and attach the spam mail to=20
this bug report. If you send it to the KMail mailing list it will=20
probably be blocked by spamassassin.
