I agree that KNotify is the better solution but that won´t solve all
problems. In some circumstances kmail generates a lot of error
messages which would be shown all with your patch. So we still need
to have a timeout for errors. But I don´t have a clue how this could
be included. Hmm, I´ll have to wait for the weekend to check this.
There is so much to do for imap (bugfixes, attachments, maildir,
namespace, ...) and so little time...
