Well it happens when I both sign and encrypt a message and use UTF-8 encoding, 
in that case the message is not displayed in UTF-8. If I only sign it it works.  
 
Well I could of course encrypt a message with my public key, but you won't be 
able to decode it so that still won't help. But I am able to reproduce it by typing 
some UTF-8 in an e-mail, signing and encrypting it (using the openpgp plugin from 
the Aegypten project) and mailing it to myself. When I open it is read as being 
iso88591.
