Summary: KMail does not read message encoding from RFC 2015
                    messages.
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail@kde.org
        ReportedBy: kdebugs@berteun.dds.nl

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

When I send a encrypted message using PGP/MIME (RFC 2015) with Mutt and I use UTF-8 \
as encoding, KMail doesn't detect this. I have to choose UTF-8 manually as charset.

However, when I save the encrypted message as msg.asc and run gpg --decrypt msg.asc I \
                do see these header:
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8
Content-Disposition: inline
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

KMail does show the message type as plain-text, and the encoding as quoted-printable, \
and does show the message inline, however, it's just iso-8859-1 what I see. \
