Summary: sending hangs after first sending failed
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail@kde.org
        ReportedBy: jost@schenck.de

Version: 1.5.9 (using KDE 3.1.9)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-4GB

I have a mail provider whose SMTP server requires me to authenticate by first \
fetching mail via POP3; after fetching the mail, SMTP connections from my IP address \
will be accepted for some minutes.

What happens is:
1. I try sending mail, but forgot to check mail first.
2. I get an error message saying my email wasn't accepted.
3. I check mail.
4. I send again. Now sending hangs and the message stays in the outbox folder. If I \
interrupt sending by clicking that little "X"-Button and then send again it works.

Minor irritation, I know. Anyway, it's been there some time now, so I wanted to \
report it :) _______________________________________________
