AFAIK pinentry-qt is incompatible with the current version of gpg-agent. 
pinentry-qt runs fine when it's started directly. But gpg-agent is not 
able to run it. Therefore gpg-agent returns an error and KMail seems to 
misinterpret this as wrong password.
