after editing the settings for about 4 or more identities :-

Running several virtual domains (not related), having an identity
for each, I was adding/renaming folders for each of the identities.
eg.

  create/rename a folder,
  edit settings to link the identity with new folder
    NB. if folder was renamed, then it has lost the original link.
  Apply, OK

repeat 4 times or more...

SIGSEGV on an Apply.
