           Summary: attachment in message body
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.4
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail@kde.org
        ReportedBy: ronaldkaehler@tin.it

Version: 1.4 (using KDE KDE 3.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

I experienced problems with Kmail receiving a e-mail with 2 big attachments (.zip).
Instead of receiving them like attachments, I found them in the message-body, looking \
like this:

begin 600 manuale.zip
M4$L#!!0````(`%1.HBR>SKD:G6P````T`@`,````1$Y3438P,$PN9&]C[%Q[
MC"/W79_MI9E<<D[2[#JI2A7]6 *Y:_=\MO?E/341/GO6-XH?>[9W2X]-5[/V
M[-ZDLQYG;&^3XQ] $?^ 0.2/E#YHKD"0J!#DQ4M0T;2EJA2AAJ(`D?@CY:5(

Even repeating the trasmission 2 times nothing changed.
By the way: the header looked normal.

I ask the sender to send me the message again and I opened it with MS Outlook-Express \
- everything was ok.2 perfect attachments. Than I forwarded the message with the \
attachments to one of my other e-mail addresses.I changed to Linux Kmail, received \
the message and...2 perfect attachments!

I'm not sure but I think that also the original sender used an outlook-express \
client.

Thanks for help
Ronald
