Edit the mailbox file ~/Mail/inbox by hand. But you should only do this when you know what you are doing. 2. Mark multiple messages including the crashing message, i. e. click on the message before the crashing message, then press and hold the Shift key and then click on the message after the crashing message. Then delete the marked messages. If you want to keep the other messages then copy them to another folder before you delete them.
