Using Kmail 1.4.2 on KDE 3.0.2 (SuSE Pro 8)

When setting up an IMAP connection to my mail server, my INBOX does not
show up unless I set the client to view unsubscribed folders as well.
Due to the directory structure of my home dir, this causes an infinite
loop and crashes my kmail client. Not to mention that it just causes
too much irrelevant information to be on screen if I view unsubscribed
folders as well.

I like Kmail in that it is very clean and light. I'm very happy with my
KDE installation and would like to continue to use it.

You would think that the INBOX would show up regardless. I know that in
every other client I've used this is the case.

I'm currently using UW-IMAP with /var/spool/mail delivery. I'm looking
at changing this over to cyrus with either mbox or Maildir. I could
setup a procmail recipie to move all my inbox mail to a file in my home
dir that I could subscribe to, but I wanted to post here first to see if
there was something very simple that I'm overlooking.

Again, there is no dialog anywhere to adjust IMAP folder subscription
and INBOX does not appear unless I am viewing unsubscribed folders as
well.

Thanks!

-Bryan Smith
