Hi Don,

I'm about to embark on an implementation journey on KMail. I need offline IMAP 
and IMAP synchronization support.

I have looked into the documents on imap.org and looked at the code in KMail 
and in Evolution (which already does on-/off-line syncing).

Is this something you have worked on before or thought about? Any pointers you 
can give me that could help me in the process?

For now I'm looking at the imap ioslave to see if it has everything needed to 
do the synchronization.
