yes, its in the crystal icon set:

/kdeartwork/IconThemes/Crystal/16x16/filesystems/folder_open.png is 18x18 pix 
large, it should be 16x16

I have modified the png and it works now as expected.
find the file attached... it would be nice if someone could commit this.
For seeing it in action you will first have to choose an alternative icon set 
and then switch back to Crystal to see the new one, it seems to be cached 
somewhere...
