Maybe that I'm stupid, but doesn't the pop3 filter work to make filtering of
mail on POP3 server from where I dowload my e-mail?
If I don't want mail from a@server.com the pop3 filter have to control if the
mail on the POP3 server comes from a@server.com and apply the rule, for
example deleting it directly and it could send a local mail to tell me that
it deleted directly mail from a@server.com.
But KMail 1.4.1 POP3 filters don't do anything of this. I have to specify a
minimum size of mail (this could be something of more, but not the standard
way to proceed), then KMail when connected to the pop3 server ask me what to
do also if I specified the filters. There is something I don't understand
maybe, because so I think POP3 filter is a bad way of implementation of this
new feature, a way that tell me the feature is unusefull.
I like KMail very much, I was waiting the new KDE 3.0.1 and KMail release like
a boy wait to see born his new brother. l was waiting to see new pop3 filter
like the developers told, but now I don't understand what happened. I'm sorry
to full mailing list of this stupid stuff but I don't understand the working
of this new features. I tryed to look for KMail manual but someone eliminated
it from source. I clicked on Help/KMail Manual, but nothing appears. What
happened?
