Reason: I don't have to run to the desktop-configuration dialog whenever I get tired \
of all these crappy icons messing up my background.. :) 

Maybe adapting the "show desktop" special button, in the same fashion as the konsole \
special button is a good idea? with a popup-menu, offering you do disable icons..?
