This was different in KDE 2.x.=20 Therefore there the global "Automatically append signature" option did=20 make some sense. But now that the user has to explicitely enable the=20 signature for an identity the global option is only confusing. =46or the "old KMailers" we should have a section "Important changes" on=20 the "Welcome to KMail" page which lists, well, important changes since=20 the last KMail version.
