Yes.  The engineering data is just a bunch of text :-)  Also, this applies not 
only for stuff that he's composing, but for replying/forwarding stuff sent 
via scripts and cron jobs (a fairly regular occurence around here).

Alright.  I'll inform him, and probably get it recompiled.  And I'll change 
the user-agent for you, just cuz you're such a great guy ;-)

Oh, and since you can never have a discussion like this that doesn't end in a 
feature request, maybe there can be a switch that turns on/off rfc compliance 
(defaulting to on, of course).  Encompassed in this, would be the ability to 
send mail encrypted to an untrusted key, the line-length thing, and any other 
feature that people would like, but doesn't exactly meet the spec.  

Oh, and could you implement a cross-platform, cross-server imap filtering 
language that would be immediately implemented by every imap server out 
there, and retain all the features of the normal kmail filtering?  

Oh, and world peace would be nice, as long as you're at it.....
