When connecting via IMAP to an IMAP account served by a Netscape/iPlanet Messaging \
Server, only the messages in subfolders of the IMAP account are displayed. Messages \
not sorted into subfolders are not displayed and are not accessible.

I would expect the messages to show up if I select the folder bearing the name of the \
incoming account for this imap server.
