A user reported problems saving big (> 10 MB) attachments
with kmail (first observed my him end last year with KDE 2.2.2).

Kmail stops silently after ~ 1MB is written without(!!)
any notification of the problem!  I've verified it
with kmail from KDE 2.2.2 Debian packages and with
yesterdays KDE 3 cvs build on Debian Woody.
Mutt has no problems saving the attachment.

KDE 3 logs to .xsession-error

kio_file: Put /home/ach/JB2001 Sternzyklen_111201.doc
kio_file: Appending .part extension to /home/ach/JB2001 Sternzyklen_111201.doc

Because I've no problem with kio_file and (much bigger) files
I guess it kmail fault ;)

Here's the size of the files procudes by kmail and mutt:

    1220448 Mar 20 11:49 JB2001 Sternzyklen_111201.doc.kmail
   19527168 Mar 20 11:51 JB2001 Sternzyklen_111201.doc.mutt

and the mbox file (sorry 14Mb) with the message:
