Package: kmail
Version: KDE 3.0.5 CVS/CVSup/Snapshot
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Not Specified
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

In KNode the key D deletes a single message, Ctrl+D deletes the whole thread. For \
consistency it would be nice to have the same functionality in KMail. Now, this \
obviously poses a problem when messages are not displayed as threads. Maybe, in that \
case Ctrl+D should not be available or we could pop up a message box on first usage \
asking the user if he wants Ctrl+D to delete whole threads even when messages are not \
shown as threads.

Another question is whether Ctrl+D should delete the *whole* thread or only all \
messages below and including the marked message.
