Your message with subj: Bug#38791: kmail <-> evolution interoperability in gpg/pgp signed messages

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

This is a known problem, it is on KMail's side, and it going to be addressed
in 3.1 (hopefully). Please search for duplicate bug requests before
submitting, though in this case, it probably would have been tough (most
people complain about KMail not being RFC-3156 compliant, which is the actual
problem).

Thanks for the report.

Both evolution (ximian) and kmail provide email signing with gpg/pgp but
a message signed in evolution is not recognised as signed in kmail and a
message signed in kmail is not recognised as signed in evolution.

As an example, here are two messages body text as received by kmail, one was
sent by kmail the other by evolution.

I hope that this can be sorted out, I am going to try to report the problem
to ximian/evolution as well.
