OS/Compiler notes: 

I changed my html viewer (under "File Associations") to
use galeon instead of konqueror.  Now when I get a link
sent to me in email it launches galeon but does not use
the link.  It appears the link is "fetched" to a temp
file first and then that file is used instead of the
URL address.  This does not appear to work if your
default browser is galeon (or any other mozilla based
viewer).  It does work with old Netscape (e.g. 4.7x).
