greetings, everybody!

just switched over to the kde3 beta -- cvs from tuesday -- and am 
noting a couple of things.

first, when beginning a message, the blank line before the double dash 
sig delimiter is gone.

second, i can't get to my plain old kmail addressbook anymore. i 
gather that this has been deprecated -- no idea why, it was perfectly 
useful -- but absent it, is there some sort of means of migration of 
it to whatever is being used now?

third, kmail is the one place i've found in kde3 where existing *rc 
files are not brought over in a useful way. this can be a real mess, 
particularly if one has set up, say, smtp and then forgotten it, as 
many of us do. it requires the reinvention of the wheel, which is 
kind of a pita.

otherwise, of course, kmail continues to be a great mail client.
