Hello Michael

No, they may be threaded, but not collapsed.

Let's say you finish reading freebsd-questions and you go cntl-K
cntrl-D. Everything turns blue and starts deleting. You can watch
the count go down on the tree display to the left. When it's done,
you still have maybe 10 messsages left, colored blue. You hit the
cntl-K cntrl-D combo again and you perhaps delete 5 more, and so
forth.

Quite often it works perfectly. Sometimes it does as above.

I suspected the imap server, so I tried pine and it works fine. This
doesn't mean that both pine and imap-uw aren't co-broken 8-) . I was
using pine exclusively for quite a while before switching to kmail
and I never saw this behavior from imap-uw.

I get a lot of email. If I can run any tests, I'll be glad to. I'd
like to help.

I'll try with no threads for a while and see what that does.
