Hi

my kmail is able to receive mails via POP3, but ending via SMTP failed
because of 'missing authentifation' (sending failed, smtp-fault,
instruction: mail, response: 501 sorry, no authentification, POP3 must
be used prior, fault: unknown user).
According to your FAQ's I did various attempts to send mails immediately
after or during the receiving operation, - without success.

Kmail 1.3.1 (german) is installed on KDE 2.2.1 on SuSE-Linux 7.3.
Connection was made to a freemail host (web.de).
Receiving mails via POP3 with Netscape-Messenger is working properly.
