Seems to work now.

I don't get the impression, that this is fixed.

All folders have a local setting which can be either TRUE or FALSE. TRUE 
means, it is the opposite of the global one, FALSE means, it is the same. I 
think it was agreed on earlier, that switching the global setting should 
reset all local settings after a warning. The same for HTML.
Besides that the threading policy is still disabled, when the global setting 
is unchecked.

Some more issues:
- All colours for quoting switch to blank, when upgrading. Probably also for
  new users. Please use better default values.
- If I have six different transports and move the first one on the top to the
  bottom, apply the changes and reopen the config dialog, I see the one that
  was last before twice and a different one is lost.
- The headers pane updates heavily if the local threading setting is different
  than the global one and I click apply on any page, even if it's just the
  plugins page. After all the checkbox in the menu does not reflect the
  reality in the headers pane.
