The scoring stuff has been disabled in the last stable version of KMail=20
(KDE 2.2.2) because it's buggy (Duh!) and nobody of us wants to=20
maintain it. So I doubt that your problem will be fixed anytime soon.=20
Instead of scoring you should use a filter which executes a command=20
which plays a sound file like "artsplay YouHaveMail.wav" or which shows=20
a message box (knotify?, dcop something?).
You should anyway update to KDE 2.2.2 as a lot of bugs have been fixed=20
since KDE 2.2.0.
