You need at least also the top level directory, kdenetwork/libkdenetwork and 
the admin dir from the kde-common module, if you don't want to fetch the 
whole kdenetwork package. The top level directory you can get with
"cvs up -l"
Besides that, the CVS HEAD version of KMail also requires kdelibs and and the 
kioslaves in kdebase from CVS.
