This is fixed in KDE 2.2.1.

Subject: check mail stops working after a while
From: revenant@bigpond.net.au

Package: kmail
Version: KDE 2.2.0
Severity: normal
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

I have Interval Mail Checking enabled and set to 5 minutes. I also sometimes click \
on the "Check Mail" button (I don't know if that's relevant). I leave my computer on \
throughout the day to fetch mail and when I get home I find it's gotten some mail but \
not very much and when I hit the "Check Mail in" button it says "Transmission \
completed". If I then close and reopen KMail and press the "Check Mail in" button it \
retrieves 50-60 messages or so. Basically, at some point, getting mail just seems to \
stop working until I reinitialise the application.

Thanx.
