The problem is, that there are still quite some mail clients and especial=
ly=20
web mails services around, that don't add a charset header to the mail.

Without this menu, it is basically impossible to read such broken mails.

Quite some people even complain, that this setting is that hidden in the =
menu=20
and not in the context menu and that it doesn't work for headers and want=
=20
even a default charset on a per folder basis to be able to read Polish ma=
ils=20
and Russian mails...
