No, unfortunately.  Also, recently it has started hapening with other
applications (I believe once with Konduerer), all be it a lot less
frequently.  However, Kmail has now gotten to the point where it's
unusable becuase of this (I'm using Netscape for e-mail now).  I thought
maybe it was something with my computer (maybe my hard drive was going
bad or something), so I reloaded with RH 7.1 and I still seem to be
having the issue...
