I have been using Fetchmail/Sendmail/Procmail (now kagent.pl) to obtain and filter my mail, and KMail to read it.  I have noticed that emails just don't show up in my mailboxes even though they have been sent and even arrived at my PC (as indicated by my Procmail/kagent logs).  Is Kmail locking these mailboxes so that new mail cannot be added to them?  If so, is it possible for KMail to not lock mailboxes when just reading from them and to lock them only briefly when (eg) a message is deleted from a mailbox?
