I have been using Fetchmail/Sendmail/Procmail (now kagent.pl) to obtain and filter my \
mail, and KMail to read it.  I have noticed that emails just don't show up in my \
mailboxes even though they have been sent and even arrived at my PC (as indicated by \
my Procmail/kagent logs).  Is Kmail locking these mailboxes so that new mail cannot \
be added to them?  If so, is it possible for KMail to not lock mailboxes when just \
reading from them and to lock them only briefly when (eg) a message is deleted from a \
mailbox?
