Hi!

I have a strange thing happening with KMail 1.2.3 from KDE 2.2beta1. It has been \
reported by others also and marked as "done." However, there was no explanation of \
what the solution to the problem was and whether it has been fixed or just "ignored" \
for an unknown reason. In addition, it only happens for me after I switched over to \
KDE 2.2 Beta 1 (compiled from source) and it's working perfectly with KDE 2.1.2. So, \
here it goes:

KMail 1.2.3 seems to stop checking for new e-mail (POP account) after a while. I've \
set it to interval checking every two minutes and it works nicely at first. Then \
suddenly it stops checking and also pressing the "Check Mail" button does not work \
anymore. I have to restart KMail in order to reactivate the interval checking (or \
checking at all, for that matter). I think it stops checking once I send an e-mail \
(via POP3) but I am not entirely sure. Can you tell me what the reason for this could \
be?!
