This really looks like it cannot work out !
To my mind you should have a libstdc++ version matching your c++ compiler :-)
Does anybody know wether KLyX works with g++-2.7.2.3?

Quickly skimming through hasn't shown any serious.

So you might even have libstdc++-2.9 lying around somewhere. You should
probably install the egcs-1.1.x and libstc++-2.9 packages first, removing any
other c++ an libstc++ packages.
It looks like your C++ setup is screwed a bit.
