a) The newest klyx is at
   ftp://ftp.de.kde.org/pub/kde/Incoming/klyx-0.9.9.tar.gz

b) *.bz2 is unpacked by bzip, that actually seems to be floating around
   virtually every ftp server nowadays.
   The reason is that compresion is a lot better :-)
