My Linux installation is Redhat 5.1 on an Intel Pentium II machine.
I have installed KDE 1.0 with qt-1.41 on /usr/opt directory.

I have been trying to install the programme from the 'klyx-0.9.8a' source file placed \
in my /usr/local directory but the ./configure process seems to get stuck with the \
following message:

checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your \
installation and add the correct paths!

I have also tried to install other k applications and I seem to get stuck in the same \
place.

I have tried the --x-includes=/usr/X11R6/include or --x-includes=/usr/opt/kde/include \
options but still get the same message. Is there something astray with the \
./configure version or is it my Linux installation, or something else? I would be \
grateful if you could give me any clues where I have gone wrong. Many thanks.
