Hi Peter,

your are right, that is a known limiation. We may address this issue in later
versions, however, doing something like this is a bit tricky under X (and
qclibboard) right now, since we do not want to lose all the formating when
copying from one klyx to another.

If you want to work with several klyx toplevel windows, there is a
trivial workaround: use one klyx application and open several windows ;-)
