Oops?!

Do you use KDE?

Did you start KLyX from the 'K' menu or by typing it into the shell?

If from 'K' menu please try it again using the shell (you see output
which might occur).

Do you have gdb (GNU Debugger)?

If no, please install.

Is the KLyX executable stripped or not?
Get this information from 'file <path to klyx>'.
If stripped you have to recompile using debug option '-g'.
Maybe you don't need to recompile - this depends on where the error
occurs.

Start gdb with 'gdb <path to klyx> <path to corefile>'.

Type 'where' inside gdb.

Send me the output of it.

If it seems to core in some klyx function than you really need
the debugging information.

If it is inside some KDE lib you probably have debugging information for
them.

Let's see what comes ...
