Here is some more feedback.
After installing from current trunk, I find the following list of files:
lnx5000:/home/kurt/Desktop # ls -l /lib/ld-*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 129767 Nov 26 2006 /lib/ld-2.5.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 28 Apr 27 00:28 /lib/ld-klik2.so.2 -> /opt/klik/lib/klik/ld-2.5.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 9 Apr 8 2007 /lib/ld-linux.so.2 -> ld-2.5.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 Apr 8 2007 /lib/ld-lsb.so.2 -> ld-linux.so.2
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 Apr 8 2007 /lib/ld-lsb.so.3 -> ld-linux.so.2
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 28 Apr 27 00:28 /lib/ld-lsk.so.1 -> /opt/klik/lib/klik/ld-2.5.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 28 Apr 27 00:28 /lib/ld-lsk.so.2 -> /opt/klik/lib/klik/ld-2.5.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 28 Apr 27 00:28 /lib/ld-lsk.so.3 -> /opt/klik/lib/klik/ld-2.5.so
In this stage, klik does not work.
After deleting these new symlinks, klik tries to work, but still fails:
lnx5000:/home/kurt/Desktop # rm /lib/ld-lsk.so.{1,2,3} /lib/ld-klik2.so.2
lnx5000:/home/kurt/Desktop # ls -l /lib/ld-*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 129767 Nov 26 2006 /lib/ld-2.5.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 9 Apr 8 2007 /lib/ld-linux.so.2 -> ld-2.5.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 Apr 8 2007 /lib/ld-lsb.so.2 -> ld-linux.so.2
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 Apr 8 2007 /lib/ld-lsb.so.3 -> ld-linux.so.2

opera: spellcheck.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
At this point klik-ed Opera brings up a small dialog about "Opera has
discovered you run KDE...". Confirming this one, Opera silently fails
and then the Konsole command prompt returns.
