ahoy hoy,

I have just purchased a garmin etrex GPS with cable.
The laptop that I want to use it with does not have
and serial ports, only USB. My question is how well
does linux support usb to serial converters an which
ones. If anyone here uses such a device with a gps, a
recomendation will be very apreciated.
