Hi, 

I write this mail mainly as a reminder for myself. just found this comment 
in Netscapes documentation: 


To change a window's current URL without generating a history entry, you can 
use the Location.replace method. This replaces the current page with a new 
one without generating a history entry. 


so it looks like our setLockHistory() was a correct idea but is not yet 
completely right implemented. we always generate redirection from 
javascript, which means we never generate a history entry. Apparently thats 
not 100% correct.
