I tried it myself some weeks ago and could indeed not get chinese pages to 
work, they did work in netscape. (So I seem to have the right fonts)

Someone asked me if Konqueror (in 2.2) can display Chinese
web pages or not. I've installed some Chinese fonts and
tried to activate them in the Konqueror setup, but it doesn't
seem to work at all (neither the simplified nor the traditional
encoding). Can this feature be enabled somehow?
