Is it possible to render frames as a table, inserting a frame in each cell ?

Many people don't like frames being scrolled independently,
they prefer scrolling one big page like slashdot.org

It's also more bandwidth conservative as you only send cells that don't change,
only once, instead of sending the whole page as slashdot.org now does because
all browsers I've seen lake this feature.

More and more good web sites refuse to use frames
because people don't like them.

Rendering frames as tables will be more bandwidth conservative and structured
and will keep people happy. It's also easier to maintain a site with frames.

What do you think ?
Would it be easy to do it in Konqueror ?
